The buildings of Folli-Follie are situated on the Athens-Lamia highway at the Ag. Stefanou Interchange. In antithesis with the logic of the buildings which are set up along the line of the road, the two buildings present cylindrical glass countenances looking like two enormous lanterns on the road. The cylinders are of special glass (okalux) which allows for a high degree of thermal insulation; the cylinders are protected with perforated aluminum blinds. At night the buildings are lit with fluorescent lights from the interior.

The administration building is divided into two parts. One part has a parallelogram framework and the other part has a cylindrical; there is a three-storey high space between the two with common access. This space, the visitors’ entrance, is lit from the roof with large reflectors which direct the sunlight downwards and at night refract the lights from the headlamps. The general offices, the workshop and the administrative offices are arranged in both spaces.

In the generally gentle character of the landscape the buildings present a gravity, which allows the panorama of the landscape to be exploited from the upper floors.
